An interdisciplinary program in globalization getting ready college students for international careers and civic engagement through a customized curriculum, language acquisition, research overseas, and internships. In addition to coursework on a selected area, worldwide research majors are required to review overseas and are encouraged to spend a minimum of one semester overseas and study a overseas language. Minor in International Studies : You could not double count any programs with another major or minor.
Majors are also eligible to take part in Sigma Iota Rho, the international studies honor society. Students must seek the advice of with the Examine Abroad office and their advisor to ensure programs taken overseas fulfill the requirements of the major.
